PERFECT HAIR COMMANDS PRECISION

Salon Policy

Albert Robin Salon is built around individual attention. Major hair services can require hours of planning, technical work and uninterrupted time, and every appointment affects the next.

These policies are not intended to make the Salon difficult to visit. They exist to protect four things: your hair, your time, your privacy and the quality of your result.

When expectations are clear before the appointment, Albert can concentrate on what matters most—the work itself.

Salon professionals are expected to follow the Salon’s safety and service-approval standards. No service is performed without the client’s knowledge and agreement, and Albert may decline or stop any procedure that could compromise the hair, the client’s health, or the safety of the Salon.

Deposits

Deposits

Established clients generally enjoy the privilege of reserving appointments without a deposit. For new clients, the minimum reservation deposit is $100. The $50 consultation is separate from the reservation deposit. Major or transformation services are scheduled following consultation and require a 50% reservation deposit. Every reservation deposit is applied in full toward the scheduled service and is not an additional charge. Reservation deposits are non-refundable. When an appointment is properly rescheduled, the deposit may be transferred to the rescheduled appointment. If a late-cancellation or no-show charge applies, any deposit already paid is credited toward that charge. If the Salon cannot provide the reserved service, the deposit will be refunded.

Card on File

Card on File

A valid payment card is required on file for all reservations. Established clients are generally not charged a reservation deposit, but a card remains on file to support the Salon’s cancellation and no-show policy. Payment information is maintained through the Salon’s booking and payment system and may be used for authorized charges and any applicable late-cancellation or no-show fee.

Check-in

Check-in

A confirmation request is sent three days before the scheduled appointment. Every client must check in and confirm no later than 48 hours before the appointment.

The final 48 hours before the appointment are the Salon’s red zone. By that point, every reservation must be either confirmed or removed from the schedule. An unconfirmed appointment is released so the reserved time can be offered to another client.

Check-in does not change the Salon’s 48-hour cancellation policy.

Cancellations

Cancellations

Plans can change. Appointments cancelled or changed within 48 hours may be subject to a late-cancellation fee if the Salon is unable to refill the reserved time.

For shorter appointments, the late-cancellation fee is $100. For major or transformation services, the late-cancellation fee is 50% of the reserved service price.

If the Salon is able to refill the reserved appointment time, the cancellation fee may be waived. Any reservation deposit already paid is credited toward any applicable cancellation charge.

As a Membership privilege, active Members receive one courtesy waiver per membership year for a late cancellation or no-show. For new salon clients, this privilege becomes available beginning with the second year of Membership.

No-Show

No-Show

We understand that unexpected situations happen. A No-Show means an appointment is missed without contacting the Salon before the reserved time. Because that time has been held exclusively and can no longer be offered to another client, a no-show is subject to the full cost of the booking.

After a No-Show

After a No-Show

Established clients are normally not required to leave a reservation deposit. After a no-show, however, the applicable no-show fee must be settled before another appointment can be reserved, and the Salon may require a reservation deposit for future bookings. Once reliable booking history is re-established, deposit-free reservations may be restored at the Salon’s discretion. Repeated no-shows may result in future reservations being declined.

Adjustments

Adjustments

Our services are intentionally performed to perfection, so normally we do not receive adjustment requests. Although, for your comfort and peace of mind, the Salon provides a 7-day period for complimentary and free of charge adjustments, if needed.

Refunds

Refunds

Completed salon services are not refundable. Reservation deposits are non-refundable, except when the Salon cannot provide the service requested. In that case, the deposit will be refunded.

Late Arrivals

Late Arrivals

Appointments are held for 15 minutes after the scheduled start time. After 15 minutes, the appointment may be canceled and treated as a late cancellation. When the Salon is able to extend the appointment beyond the reserved time, additional time is charged at the full applicable rate.

History & Disclosure

HISTORY & DISCLOSURE

For chemical, color, lightening and texture services, clients must disclose all relevant hair history, including previous color, bleach, relaxers, keratin or smoothing treatments, Japanese straightening, henna, home color, extensions and other chemical procedures. Incomplete or inaccurate history may affect both the result and the integrity of the hair. The Salon may modify, postpone or decline a service when prior history makes the requested procedure unsafe or unpredictable.

Testing and Approval

TESTING AND APPROVAL

The Salon may require a strand test, compatibility test or additional consultation before a chemical, corrective or texture service. Final service approval is based on the condition, elasticity and previous chemical history of the hair. When the integrity of the hair is at risk, the requested service may be adjusted, postponed or declined.

Price & Duration

PRICE & DURATION

Pricing and appointment duration are based on hair length, density, condition, chemical history, complexity, product usage and the time required to perform the service properly. Consultation estimates for new clients are estimates only. To account for normal variations in time, product and technical work, all quoted prices include a flexibility range of up to $100. Any price adjustment beyond that range will be discussed with the client and approved before proceeding.

Health & Safety

HEALTH & SAFETY

Clients are asked to inform the Salon of allergies, sensitivities, scalp conditions or other circumstances that may affect a chemical or technical service. The Salon reserves the right to postpone, modify or decline any procedure when it cannot be performed responsibly or when the condition of the scalp or hair requires additional assessment.

Photography

PHOTOGRAPHY

For the privacy of our clients and staff, photography, video or audio recording of other guests or employees is not permitted without their consent. The Salon may photograph or record finished work only with the client’s permission. Personal privacy and discretion are expected throughout the Salon.

Mobile Devices

MOBILE DEVICES

To protect concentration, timing, precision and the quality of every service, mobile phones, tablets and laptops must remain on silent mode while inside the Salon. Speakerphone, video calls, audible media and other disruptive device use are not permitted. During technical services, devices must not interfere with head position, sectioning, processing time or the hairstylist’s ability to work with full precision. Calls that require conversation should be taken outside whenever possible.

Refusal

REFUSAL

The Salon reserves the right to refuse, stop or immediately cancel any service when a client’s behavior is abusive, threatening, disruptive, unsafe, disrespectful or interferes with the professional performance of the service. Clients are expected to follow Salon policies and staff instructions at all times. When an appointment is terminated because of misconduct or refusal to comply with Salon rules, the client may be asked to leave immediately and may be declined future bookings.
