High-Precision Haircut — North Miami
A precision haircut in North Miami should do more than look beautiful for an afternoon. At Albert Robin Salon, the haircut is designed around your head shape, growth pattern, hair density and the way the strands fall after you style them yourself.
Albert personally performs the cutting at our private NE 123rd Street studio. The aim is an intentional silhouette with balanced weight and movement—not a rushed trim, a generic layering formula or a style held together by excessive products.
A Haircut Constructed, Not Simply Trimmed.
Albert’s advanced education at the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in London informs his approach to sectioning, graduation, line, elevation and proportion. Cutting begins with observation and careful construction on wet hair.
After a full blow-dry, the haircut is evaluated again in its real finished state. The dry phase lets Albert refine the perimeter, release weight where needed and confirm the movement is balanced on both sides.

Three Decisions Behind a Precision Haircut
Build the Silhouette
Small decisions about line, graduation and elevation determine where the shape carries volume. Albert connects the individual sections so the design reads as one coherent haircut.
Cut for Your Natural Fall
Fine, dense, wavy, curly and chemically smoothed hair behave differently. Texture, shrinkage and natural growth patterns determine how much weight to retain or release.
Refine Every Detail
A haircut is not complete when the wet outline looks correct. Dry refinement reveals imbalances and improves the relationship between the shape, movement and your preferred styling routine.

Two Cutting Phases. One Considered Result.
A new-guest precision haircut is a substantial, approximately two-hour appointment. It includes an individual design discussion, wet cutting, full drying and meticulous dry refinement. Time is reserved to work methodically, rather than to move through a line of hurried bookings.
If you also need major Texture & Repair work, chemical straightening or corrective color, that transformation is planned separately. The cutting method is explained in The Albert Robin Method and the current options appear in our Service Menu.
The Best Cut Still Works Between Visits.
Bring photographs if they help explain your vision, but tell us what happens when the salon finish wears off: where your hair expands, which side falls differently, whether you use heat, and how often you want to return for maintenance. These details shape the haircut as much as the reference image.
A strong precision haircut should make the ordinary days easier. It must retain its structure while allowing natural movement, not demand that you reproduce a professional blow-dry every morning.

The North Miami salon is at 2220 NE 123rd Street, North Miami, FL 33181, near the Biscayne Boulevard corridor. This is Albert’s working studio, not a satellite location. Haircuts are offered by appointment; there are no walk-ins.
For clients combining a haircut with a major texture transformation, see our Texture & Repair Collection. We plan the cut around the hair’s final texture when the services are combined.
Answers Before Your Haircut Appointment
How much time is reserved for a precision haircut?
New-guest precision haircut appointments are generally planned for approximately two hours, allowing time for discussion, wet cutting, a complete blow-dry and precise dry finishing. Timing can vary with the hair and service plan.
Do I need to book a separate consultation?
No separate consultation booking is usually needed for a standard new-guest haircut: the design consultation is included in the haircut appointment. Complex chemical transformations follow a different consultation process.
Do you finish the haircut after blow-drying?
Yes. Dry refinement is a defining part of the service, not an optional quick styling step. Albert checks the finished shape, balance and movement after the hair has been fully dried.
A More Intelligent Cut Starts Here.
